I’m Andy, and I’m the owner of A1 Sewer Service. I’m a hands-on guy who takes a lot of pride in what I do and in the business I’ve built. I’ve always believed that hard work, honesty, and treating people right go a long way. When someone calls me for help, I want them to feel like they’re dealing with a real person who genuinely cares—not just another company trying to make a sale.
For me, A1 Sewer Service is personal. I’ve worked hard to build a reputation based on doing things the right way, standing behind my work, and being upfront with my customers. I know that plumbing and sewer problems can be stressful and expensive, and I never want someone to feel like they’re being taken advantage of. I’d rather earn your trust and have you call me again—or recommend me to a friend or family member—because you know I’ll take care of you.
At the end of the day, I’m proud of the work I do and the people I get to meet along the way. Whether it’s a small repair or a major sewer problem, I’m going to show up, do my best to solve it, and treat your home and your family with the same respect I’d expect for my own. You get a straight answer about what’s wrong and what it costs before any work starts. We’re open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and there are no after-hours fees until 8 p.m., weekends included.
A1 is locally owned and works out of a shop off Bay Ridge Ave on the south side of Iowa City. We offer community discounts for teachers, seniors, and military and law enforcement, so ask when you call.
